Hi, I’m Eric Simenson — VP/COO and Lead Instructor at Golden Sunshine Consulting LLC. I’ve spent the last 35 years working in EMS and EMS education, and I’m passionate about helping people build the skills and confidence they need to save lives.

As an American Heart Association (AHA) Faculty Member and American Red Cross (ARC) Instructor Trainer, I’ve had the privilege of training hundreds of first responders, healthcare professionals, and everyday heroes. Whether I’m teaching CPR to a new parent or mentoring an experienced EMT, my goal is always the same: make the learning real, practical, and empowering.

At Golden Sunshine Consulting, we’re all about delivering high-quality, hands-on education that sticks. I’m proud to be part of a team that’s helping raise the bar in emergency training—while keeping it accessible, engaging, and even a little fun.

When I’m not teaching or running operations, you’ll find me staying current on the latest in EMS practices, supporting our local responder community, or enjoying a rare quiet moment outside the chaos of sirens and simulations.
